Frequently Asked Questions

This really depends on your personal needs. You may well be aware of the changing qualification requirements of your job and just need more information on the demands of a specific course. If this is the case, please take a look at the Community Pharmacy Courses, Hospital Courses and Dispensing Doctors' Courses that are advertised on this website. You can access these web pages by using the menu at the top of each web page or by clicking one of the above links.

It may also be worth finding out if you are eligible to receive credit for prior learning by contacting us. If you have further questions please contact us.

Please follow these steps to login to your PeTS course website:

• Click the 'PeTS Login' menu option which is on the top left hand corner of the web page. This will take you to the 'Login to your PeTS Course' web page. Alternatively you can click here to go directly to the web page.
• Click the green panel that says 'Student Login'. This will expand the panel to reveal some drop down menus.
• Click on the drop down menu that is relevant to yourself and from the list select the course that you are enrolled on.
• When prompted please enter your user name and password. Please remember that:
• Your user name is NOT case sensitive. You can use lower or upper case to enter your user name.
• However, your password IS case sensitive and should be entered using UPPER CASE letters.
• Do not forget the hyphen (-) in the password.

The duration of the course you take will vary but as an example an NVQ Level 2 course will normally take 12 months and an NVQ Level 3 course will last about 24 months. For some of our CPD modules it may be possible to achieve completion in a much shorter period of time. For more details please contact us.

Depending on the course you study you may be required to submit homework for marking.

Submitting homework via fax machine

Faxed homework is only acceptable when expiry dates are looming. However, we can be flexible in the way we receive and return your homework.

Submitting homework via the post

Please be aware that sometimes homework can get lost if sent by post. For this reason we recommend that you make a photocopy of your work.

Submitting homework via email

We are committed to more environmentally friendly working practices and we are using email more and more. Another clear advantage of this practice will be faster turn around speeds for homework.

In some cases your previous learning may entitle you to receive credit and therefore reduce the amount of work you need to do to complete your course. Please contact us with any questions regarding credit for prior learning.
