Advanced Apprenticeship Funding
Buttercups Training can also currently offer fully funded Advanced Apprenticeships to candidates aged between 16-18 who meet the Skills Funding Agency eligibility criteria. There is an employer contribution required for candidates aged over 19.
The Advanced Apprenticeship programme consists of the BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science (QCF), Level 3 Diploma in Pharmacy Service Skills (NVQ) (QCF) (formerly NVQ 3 Pharmacy Services Evidence Collection), Key Skills Level 2 in Application of Number and Communication and Employment Rights and Responsibilities Workbook. Learners on Advanced Apprenticeship programmes will receive progress reviews every 9-12 weeks.
In order to apply for funding, the following criteria must be met:
- Candidates must have been a resident in the EU for a minimum of 3 years.
- Candidates must hold a National Insurance Number.
- Candidates must hold a contract of employment and be working a minimum of 16 hours per week.
- Candidates must be based in England.
- Candidates cannot hold a Level 4 qualification or above.
In order to apply for funding, please complete the following enrolment documents in full and post to Buttercups with a covering note to say that you wish to be screened for funding. If you are based in Community / Hospital Pharmacy, please complete this application pack.
If you are based at a Dispensing Doctors' Practice, please complete this application pack.
