• Unit - Assist with the assembly of prescribed items
• Unit - Ensure your own actions reduce the risk to health and safety
• Unit - Order, receive and store pharmaceutical stock

• Unit - Assist with the provision of a pharmacy customer service

• Equip the assistant to assemble prescribed items accurately, contribute to safe and effective stock keeping and control systems, and communicate effectively with the public and other members of the healthcare team.

• You must have access to a supervising pharmacist or pharmacy technician.

• 12 months

• The modules are all assessed by multiple-choice questions.
• The tasks require activities to be completed within the dispensary and witnessed by a qualified pharmacy technician.
• The checking activity requires the dispenser to check 1000 items without error (these must be re-checked by the Doctor) and write a reflective log of errors found.
