This course provides the GPhC accredited Medicine Counter Assistant Course and the GPhC accredited Dispensing Assistant Course (Level 2 Equivalent).

The Healthcare Assistant Course has been designed for colleagues whose role requires them to undertake a number of activities within the pharmacy. The course comprises both the Medicine Counter Assistant and the Dispensing Assistant (Level 2 Equivalent) qualifications, accredited by the GPhC.

Busy pharmacies often require support staff who are qualified to work behind the counter, as well as in the dispensary. The Healthcare Assistant Course develops confidence behind the counter and in the dispensary, providing the appropriate skill mix to prepare for the challenges of both roles.
